My Story
We visited Tignes the past summer and could see the decline of the glacier first hand. Especailly when comparing it to my first time in Tignes more than 20 years ago. All I want is to go skiing with my family and being able to do this for many years to come.
Let's do it
From 24-29 February, I will be joining skiers and snowboarders from around the world to take on Niseko’s famous volcanoes whilst raising funds for POW UK. In addition to this, Mabey Ski will be offsetting every challenger's carbon footprint by a tree-planting project with POW UK’s partner, Mossy Earth, not to mention the fact we'll be swapping carbon-emitting chairlifts and snowcats for touring skis and split-boards.
Now it's time to make a donation
to support POW UK on their mission to protect our winters. All funds raised from this challenge will go towards developing POW UK's own carbon literacy programme, consisting of unique content tailored to the outdoor community to help them understand and make positive change. This will then be 'taken to the community' to work with and educate groups, clubs, organisations, companies and individuals.
